Gavilan Football: Carter, Miller and Kelley sign letters of intent
GILROY—Gavilan coach Spencer Gilford promised Deniko Carter, Armani Miller and Trevin Kelley he’d help them reach the next level. On Wednesday, Gilford fulfilled that promise.
Baseball: Katich, Rams back in first place with win over Skyline
Gabe Katich pitched eight strong innings, Alika Bantilan drove in two runs, and Gavilan College’s baseball team held on for a 6-3 home win over Skyline on Thursday.

The Gavilan volleyball team swept Monterey Peninsula College 3-0 Friday in a Conference Crossover game at home.Â

The Gavilan volleyball team got off to a rough start, taking on L.A. Pierce College and Bakersfield College Saturday on the road.

Gavilan let De Anza get close in Set 1, but dominated the remaining two to win 3-0 Wednesday on the road.Â
