The Christopher High girls soccer team closed out the Monterey Bay League regular season with a 0-0 draw at Pajaro Valley on Thursday night.

GILROY—Over the last four years Tayler Silacci has been earning her stripes. The Gilroy High senior has spent countless mornings getting up before sunrise and has travelled across the country attending camps and tournaments all to earn a field hockey scholarship.

The Spirit of Morgan Hill 10U B softball team, comprised of players from around South County, capped off a six-game winning streak by winning its final tournament of the season July 3-5 in Carmel.

A run in the top of the ninth propelled De Anza past Gavilan 3-2 Wednesday at home.
