Dear Editor:
I don’t usually get caught up in the nastiness that I see on the
editorial page, but I just couldn’t let the comments by Connie
Gallegos go unquestioned.
Dear Editor:
I don’t usually get caught up in the nastiness that I see on the editorial page, but I just couldn’t let the comments by Connie Gallegos go unquestioned.
“With all do respect, let me suggest that Mark Zappa needs to get a life.”
May I ask what respect is she applying to this mean and hateful question?
Was it really necessary to make a personal attack on someone?
“Dion Bracco? What has he done in town?”
Has Connie Gallegos taken the time to find out? To say that, “He hasn’t given me any reason to think he knows anything about the city of Gilroy” shows that she hasn’t.
He is a third generation Gilroyan. A businessman in Gilroy. A father to children in Gilroy schools. Active in the community on many levels. I think those are good reasons to think he knows something about Gilroy.
Does there have to be such nastiness in something that is supposed to be good for our town? Pick your candidate. Support your candidate. Vote for your candidate.
Please stop the uninformed personal attacks.
