Natalie Gutierrez is the Student of the Week for June 5.

What inspires you? I feel like my family and great people who do things to help me inspire me.
What is your favorite subject in school, and why? Art is my favorite subject in school because I get a chance to create and show people a different perspective.
If you had the power to change one thing in the world, what would it be? If I had the power to change one thing in the world it would be the power to cure cancer.
If you could go anywhere, where would you go? I would go to England.
Name one big challenge in your life right now: One big challenge in my life right now is deciding what special gifts I want to give to my family and friends when I go off to college.
What is your dream job? My dream job is becoming an artist or painter.
If you were stuck on a deserted island, what three things could you not live without? If I was stuck on a desert island I could not live without my family, my pets, and sunscreen.
Favorite book: “Lightning” by Dean Koontz is my favorite book. 
What do you want to do after high school? I want to go to San Jose State University to get an undergraduate in Mechanical Engineering while playing golf and track.
Something that makes you smile: My dog and hanging out with people I love and my dreams make me smile.
