GILROY – The Gilroy Community Services program is set for summer. It’s a drop-in one, and children are not required to stay the entire day but are welcome to.

Children from ages six to 12 can learn crafts, play games and participate in numerous other activities, including sports, drama and music. There’s even a new site at Rod Kelley school, in Room 13.

Other sites include the park building at Las Animas Veterans Park, the multipurpose room of Wheeler Community Center, and the cafeteria of Luigi Aprea School.

Parents can register their children at any of the sites. Registration is $5 and covers every day of the program.

Children can drop by the playground sites between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. Monday through Friday until Aug. 6.

Special trips have separate fees.
