Los Gigantes rushed to a 7-0 lead after one inning on the way to a 3-1 mark midway through the regular-season schedule.
Jeremy Page set the tone for Los Gigantes with a solo home run in the first frame. The following six batters scored, paced by a two-run double from Kurt Gitmed.
Noe DeLaTorre lined a home run and Issac Almanza scored twice for the winners. Steve Jaquez went 3-for-3 and Mike Olmeda hit two doubles and a single for 2-2 Tax Systems.
Most Wanted matched the 3-1 marks of Los Gigantes and idle C&R Communications with a 14-5 nod over Lozano’s Dirty Ghetto Boys.
Lionel Ortiz and Eddie Adame each posted three hits as Most Wanted built a 12-0 margin after five innings. Roy Escudero plated three runs and Mike Gonzalez hit a two-run triple. Don Rose supplied a two-run single, Louis Bobadilla a two-run double in a five-run sixth for Lozano’s.
Kurt Simmons went 4-for-4 with a home run to lead DS Builders by the VFW Vets 20-2.
Kurtis Salter homered and Daniel Fellows lashed a triple, double and single for DS Builders. Mike Montenegro and Joe Cano hit consecutive sacrifices in the Vets fourth.
Blackout Window Tinting surprised unbeaten Cencal Auto Body 15-7 in Men’s D action Tuesday.
Blackout (3-2) struck for five runs in the first inning, sparked by a two-run Chris Velador single and a Terry Smith RBI-triple. Jeff Wong stroked a two-run home run and a solo shot, Chris Wong a two-run blast for the Windows. Chris Peckham went 3-for-4 and scored three Cencal (4-1) runs.
The Players, also 4-1, tallied three runs in the top of the ninth to top the Titans 19-16.
Aaron Muro capped the Player ninth with a two-run homer. Anthony Duran went 3-for-4 and scored three runs. Lee Pappas netted a triple and three singles for the Titans.
Pacific Coast Bail Bonds moved into fifth place at 2-4 with a 27-12 decision over Gamers In Control (3-2).
The Bondsmen pushed across 12 first-inning runs. Brent Boyd stroked a two-run homer and Ryan Boyd and Josh Torres each provided two hits.
Eric Cantu went 3-for-4 with a homer for Pacific Coast Bail Bonds. Ian Hanley and Tony Martinez netted two-run singles in a nine-run fourth for Gamers In Control.
Los Pistoleros are 6-0 in Men’s DD play Wednesday after a 16-4 decision over Gilroy Screen Printing.
John Carrillo lined a two-run triple, Lupe Lemus an RBI-double as Los Pistoleros scored five runs in the top of the first. Joaquin Chacon doubled in one run, Val Casillas another with a sacrifice as Gilroy Screen Printing reacted in the same frame. Chacon added an RBI-triple and scored on an error in the third to complete the Screen Printing offense. Joel Lopez homered and Rick Trujillo went 4-for-4 for the winners.
The Royals are second at 3-1-1 after a 16-12 victory over the Bomb Squad. Jeff DiDomenico and Pat McGuire each fashioned four hits and Nathan Mixter produced three hits and scored three runs for the Royals. Ryan Bell and Benito Landeros each recorded three Bomb Squad hits.
Team Wicked used homers from Chris Stainton and Brian Fialkowsky to upend the Loco Boys 16-10. Eloy Ortiz went 3-for-3 for the winners. Alex Pena powered three hits and Elias Madrid and Adam DeLeon combined to turn in a triple play for the Loco Boys.
