Mrs. Campos lives in Gilroy with her husband who is self-employed. She has two children – one attends middle school and the other is in college.
Other interests:
Mrs. Campos loves reading inspirational books, traveling, and above all, enjoys being with her family.
What’s outstanding about her:
Mrs. Campos has a gift for working with at-risk youth. She is very sensitive to the needs of her students and is able to be a positive and supportive adult in young adults’ lives. Mrs. Campos is a resiliency factor for her students and many times students credit her for their accomplishments at Mt. Madonna and in their personal lives. Principal John Perales says he has witnessed Mrs. Campos give advice to her students regarding many aspects of their lives from class work to how to better relationships with parents. Mrs. Campos works daily to meet the academic needs of her students and be a support person for them!
Why she likes her job:
Mrs. Campos loves the challenge of working with her students. She says: “It’s tough but it’s wonderful to see them at the graduation ceremony in line. I like working with kids who some thought would never make it.”
