I would like to thank you for running the article on puppies sold in pet stores. My husband and I bought my mom a Westhighland terrier, and he was sick from day one.
After five months and two different vets, he is now a healthy boy. We were hassled every time we submitted the vet bill to the Pet Stop owner. We signed a contract that stated all medical attention would be reimbursed up to the price of the dog, however, we were still hassled for every reimbursement dollar. This shop should not be allowed to sell puppies any longer.
I feel so bad for the lady who lost her dog. The minute you look into the eyes of these dogs it is instant love, and we would have done anything to get our westie better.
