Dear Editor:
In response to the opinion of the Rodriguez family regarding how wonderful the Hollister theater is for screening “Un-Fairenheit 9/11,” I must say, slow down a bit here sir. Top ranking documentary? This movie is not even close to a documentary. No, I have not seen the movie, but I do trust the opinion of many experts who have seen it and given it thumbs down on just about every aspect of the events that have taken place since or before 9/11.
If the producer would have called it “conspiracy 9/11,” he may have gotten my attention and I would have been okay wasting $20 to see it. But to call it documentary is to call chicken crap chicken salad. Thank goodness I know the difference.
I give credit to all the other theaters that have their priorities straight and decided against the screening of this stupid anti-American movie. Michael Mooreon has said it himself: the objective of the movie is to make sure that President Bush is not re-elected. He will accomplish his mission once he has people like you confused by distorting the facts. There’s a darn good reason why the Disney Company did not support this movie.
Once again, there’s a good article by a liberal writer, Christopher Hitchens, on MSN Web site (June 21), which exposes the falsehood of Michael Mooreon and this stupid, anti-American movie – if you care to know the truth. If not, then you have just joined the ranks of the anti-American countries in the world that would love to see this country fall apart from within and depend on United Nations for all of its needs.
If America does not wake up soon, that could happen. This land is your land, protect it.
