Model Aircraft Skypark Airshow

Watch things fly that you’ve never dreamed possible at the Santa Clara County Model Aircraft Skypark Airshow from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday and Sunday at the Santa Clara County Model Aircraft Skypark, located on Monterey Road near Cochrane Avenue in Morgan Hill. The event is free. See radio-controlled WWII fighters, amazing helicopter demonstrations, racing aircraft and turbine jets. Watch breathtaking aerobatics and even try your hand at flying a radio-controlled airplane with the help of an instructor. Lunch and refreshments are available. Limited shade and seating available. Free concerts for seniors at Village Green

The Village Green of Gilroy invites all seniors 62 and older to their second annual Concert Series at 7600 Isabella Way. Concerts include Ken Sosa (sounds from Frank Sinatra) from 3 to 4:30 p.m. Saturday; Rita Beach (country music) from 3 to 5 p.m. Aug. 13 and Bill Martin (’60-80s music) Sept. 10. ‘Norman, Is That You?’ – last show

Limelight Actors Theater presents the final weekend of “Norman, Is That You?”, a hysterical two-act comedy written by Ron Clark and Sam Bobrick. Gilroy Kids Triathlon celebrates life

Children ages 5 to 13 can swim, bike and run during the Gilroy Kids Triathlon from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday at Gilroy High School, 750 W. Tenth St. The event features several activities children can compete in. Cost: $30 for residents and $35 for nonresidents. Details: 846-0460.
