Dear Editor,

As a Gilroy resident of the so-called northwest quad, I have noticed in the past couple of years a large influx of boats, campers, trailers, motorhomes, etc.illegally parked on our public streets.

We even have people running businesses from their homes parking several trucks, vans, trailers and boats on the street.

I can certainly understand someone parking a travel trailer, fifth-wheel or motor home for a couple of days prior to or returning from a trip, but the days and weeks at a time are getting out of hand.

Where is our code enforcement? And don’t tell me its a lack of personnel and money, I have heard that bull too many times.

Our once nice looking neighborhoods are beginning to look atrocious with all this junk sitting in front of homes for weeks on end without being moved.
