Youth show off their athleticism at second-annual triathlon.
Eighty-five boys and girls ages 5 through 13 took to the campus of Gilroy High and the surrounding neighborhoods as part of the Second Annual Celebrate Life Swim Bike Run Kids Triathlon on Saturday.
Along with the participants, about 75 volunteers assisted with the organization and execution of the event, Gilroy recreational director Veronica Torrez said.
“We couldn’t have done it with out them,” she said. “I received positive feedback from participants and parents throughout the day,” Torrez said.
