GILROY – The Gilroy High girls gymnastics team took on Los Altos last Thursday – falling in the team competition 174.9-135.1.
For the Lady Mustangs, senior Jennifer Yip finished sixth in both the bars with an 8.7 and on beam with an 8.1; Tracey Link was sixth on floor with an 8.55; Erin Logterman claimed fourth place on bars with an 8.95 and fifth in the all-around with a 32.7 tally; and Valerie Avila took third on floor with a 9.35.
The MBL Finals are scheduled for May 10 at Twister’s Gym in Mountain View.
