Animas Park to clinch the second-half Men’s C League softball
crown.

17-7 in the opener. Danny Gonzalez went 4-for-5 with a two-run home
run for K’s Dogs.
Gilroy – Pacific Coast Bail Bonds split a doubleheader Tuesday at Las Animas Park to clinch the second-half Men’s C League softball crown.

Jarrod Hernandez, Shawn Hernandez and Gabriel Hernandez each lashed three hits as Pacific Coast Bail Bonds defeated K’s Dogs 17-7 in the opener. Danny Gonzalez went 4-for-5 with a two-run home run for K’s Dogs.

Pacific Coast completed the twinbill with a 20-10 setback to Ascent Electrical. Gilbert Salgado powered two home runs, Will Hill and Pete Lira one apiece for the Electricians. Hill took game batting honors with a 6-for-6 performance. Shawn Hernandez went 4-for-4 and Daniel Vasquez collected three hits as Pacific Coast finished the night at 4-1.

Cosa Nostra remained unbeaten in the second half of Men’s DD play Tuesday by rallying for two runs in the bottom of the seventh for a 12-11 win over the Titans.

Armando Hernandez doubled to open the Cosa Nostra (5-0) seventh, scoring on a Raul Avila hit. Armando Franco completed a 4-for-4 night by delivering the game-winning single.

Vic Vanni went 4-for-5 and Steve Welch 3-for-4 for the Titans (3-2), the first-half E champion.

Fine Line Painting is 4-1 after a 22-15 triumph over Dan Keith Septics.

Bill Waller stroked a home run and two singles to key the Fine Line attack. Danny Rubalcava hit two Dan Keith Septics home runs.

George Palacios, Jason Corona and Juan Longoria each went 3-for-3 as the Assassins defeated the Hitmen 17-13. Kurt Maltman went 4-for-4 for the Hitmen.

God’s Gangsters outlasted the Loco Boys 13-10 to leave both clubs at 2-3 at Gavilan Sports Park.

Arnold Vasquez Jr., Louie Bobadilla and Rick Chavez each drilled three hits for God’s Gangsters. Nathan Madrell went 2-for-3 with two runs scored and Doug Franklin went 2-for-2 for the Loco Boys.
