Dear Editor,

The gulf has been devastated. The president has released oil from the reserves. The big problem is there are not enough refineries to service that oil.

One administration after another has neglected to solve that problem. Why doesn’t the president ask the people who don’t want new or upgraded oil refineries what is their reasoning? What is their reasoning for not having at least 10 new refineries in our country? I’m told it takes six to eight years to build one.

People at the consuming level will be paying out $5 a gallon and our food at stores will be double. It’s not the president’s fault.
