Dear Editor,
I would like to comment on some of the statement’s in J.G.
McCormack’s letter published on Oct. 7. Mr. McCormack, you say you
believe our massive national debt is a greater threat to our
society than terrorism. Then you state that two senators,
recommended by the California Teachers Association are the one’s
responsible for our debt.
Dear Editor,

I would like to comment on some of the statement’s in J.G. McCormack’s letter published on Oct. 7. Mr. McCormack, you say you believe our massive national debt is a greater threat to our society than terrorism. Then you state that two senators, recommended by the California Teachers Association are the one’s responsible for our debt.

It seem’s to me that during the last presidential campaign we were all talking about a surplus. Don’t you think the war in Iraq, or the attack of 9/11 had anything to do with our growing defict. I totally agree that our massive national debt is a greater threat to our society than terrorism, but I seriously question our ability to continue to fight pre-emptive war’s and police the world virtually alone, no matter how noble it may be.

Our present administration’s policie’s and action’s are a plan for failure.We need a change.
