increase of the water rates.

I just finished reading the article about another Gilroy increase of the water rates. That is another 15 percent on top of the 10 percent increase in August of 2003 and 4 percent . When you do the math that is a 29 percent increase in one year.
Are you kidding me?
Then Mr. Jay Baska (overpaid city administrator) states “no one spoke up at the meeting about the increase.” Do you want to know why?
Because the City Council does what they want!! A 100 people could have spoke up, but they still would have raised the rates! They don’t listen to the people of Gilroy!
Oh, by the way the welcome sign entering Gilroy should say … “Welcome to the Money Pit.”
