DEAR EDITOR:

The Democratic presidential hopefuls have been beating down on President Bush for a good five months.

No matter what happens, it is Bush’s fault. They blame Bush for the economy. Wrong. You don’t have to be a rocket scientist to know that the economy is run by supply and demand. When supply exceeds the demand, you have a recession.

They blame Bush for the war on Iraq. They have already forgotten “9-11” when terrorists attacked the United States killing more than 3,000 Americans. Billions of dollars of damage in New York City, four jets loaded with people young and old who were brutally killed in this fury attack against our country. The war on Iraq, a terrorist nation under Saddam Hussein, is justified.

They blamed Bush for poverty in America. Wrong. The Democrats were in control of Congress for over 45 years, including four of the eight years under Bill Clinton’s watch. What have they done for people in poverty? Nothing.

They call Bush a corporate president. Bush’s administration is no more corporate than any other administration and probably less than some. Democrats as well as Republicans know that companies generate all the country’s GNP (gross national product), employ 110 million citizens and are the undergirding of the nations savings.

The Democrats talk about universal health care. The health care in Canada that is universal is a disaster.

President Bush is a good and honorable man who cares about the United States of America and deserves another four years to lead this country. As for the Democrat president hopefuls, they are full of propaganda and lies. Their main goal is to milk the American public votes.
