The two seniors bolstered the No. 1 singles spots .

Peter Mickartz
The Mustangs’ leading hitter and team MVP also performed closing and spot-starting duties for a Gilroy team that made the CCS playoffs.

The senior shooting guard was an all-around solid scorer and earned a spot on the TCAL First Team.

Kristen Campos
When the junior point guard was on the floor, the Mustangs were a well-oiled machine. Naturally, she played nearly every minute in Gilroy’s CCS semifinal run.

Stephanie Radtke
Amerson, the best runner for the boys, was also a 4.15 student. Radtke, a three-time CCS qualifier, also contributed to the basketball team.

Ramirez led the Mustangs in goals scored while Sandoval was named to the All-CCS First Team.

School and league rushing records? Check. Big plays in big games? Check. Flat-out speed when turning the corner on sweeps? Triple check. And this all-CCS running back is just a junior.

Clark was the lone Mustang golfer who qualified for the CCS meet.

The only athlete named by the Dispatch as Player of the Year in two sports, the junior qualified for the CCS meet last fall.

Gilroy’s field general was showered with postseason awards, including CCS Player of the Year. Now the 3.9-GPA student takes his game to UC Santa Barbara on a full ride.

The senior shortstop takes her slick glove and powerful bat to St. Mary’s.

The butterfly specialist capped off a stellar four-year career at GHS with league titles in the 200 IM and 200 fly and a trip to the section finals.

Just a sophomore, Wilson was the top ‘Stang player on the hardcourt.

With a State Finals appearance in discus, look for a big season from this junior weightman next spring. In the fall, he’ll once again anchor the football team’s offensive line.

Rossi, a leading scorer, and Gamble, a defensive mainstay, led the ‘Stangs in the pool.

The junior placed third at State and was the most consistent grappler on a team that placed sixth in California – best in GHS history.
