Red Phone

Someone parked his or her car in front of my house and it hasn’t moved for going on a week now. Is there a time limit for how long someone can leave their car on the curb and if so, who do I contact to get that enforced?
Red Phone:
Thank you, good caller, for your Red Phone request. Red Phone is always happy to find answers to your questions and perhaps make your day!  Yes, there is a Gilroy Police Department phone number that you can call to report an abandoned vehicle in front of your home, or a vehicle blocking your driveway.
The number is (408) 846-0320. You will need to provide the location of the vehicle, its manufacturer, model, color, and license plate number.
The police department requests that you do not call 911 for this non-emergency situation, because by doing so you might interfere with a real emergency call and delay help to people with life threatening situations. This information is available on the City of Gilroy website at http://bit.ly/1RK1wAb .
As for when you should report the abandoned vehicle, Red Phone wonders how long can you wait?
