Construction crews have begun clearing the ground for one of the
most controversial housing projects to receive approval in the last
year. Residents from around the city rallied behind Miller Avenue
neighbors last summer in opposition to the project, which will
create six homes where two once stood on the northern end of the
tree-lined street. The project, put forth by the Mussallem family,
received support from a bare majority of city council.
