The community is encouraged to attend a forum on “Youth, violence and gangs” – second in the series of the Latino Educators Forum hosted by Voz de la Gente, a Latino community group.

The 6 p.m. presentation Thursday in the Christopher High School Library will feature speakers: Tomas Alejo of the Brown Berets; Reymundo Armendariz of Community Agency for Resources Advocacy and Services; and Peter Leroe-Munoz, a San Benito County Deputy District Attorney and Gilroy City Councilman. Also, representatives from the Gilroy Police Department have been invited to speak.
