Christopher High sophomore Riley Siason wrestles during the Asics/Vaughn Cadet/Junior National Championships at the FargoDome in Fargo, N.D.

GILROY—Two Gilroy wrestlers are taking on the best in the country at the Asics Vaughn Cadet/Junior National Championships in Fargo, N.D.
Soon-to-be sophomore Riley Siason of Christopher High and incoming Gilroy High freshman Jacob Barnes are representing the Garlic Capital on the national stage.
Barnes is undefeated so far in the Freestyle competition, boasting a 2-0 record as of Wednesday. The newly minted Mustang is 3-2 in Greco-Roman.
Siason had a tougher time in his tournament, going 1-2 in Greco-Roman and 2-2 in Freestyle. Unfortunately for the Cougar, his tournament run is through, despite solid performances in both styles.
The tournament kicked off July 18 continues through Saturday at the FargoDome.
