like to send a BIG thank you to all of the people that made our
summer playground programs a great success!

We, the summer recreation leaders at the City of Gilroy, would like to send a BIG thank you to all of the people that made our summer playground programs a great success! The playground program is a drop-in summer program for children, between the ages of 6 and 12, located at four schools sites in Gilroy – Luigi Aprea, Antonio del Buono, El Roble and Rod Kelley.
Our 300 kids enjoyed our program immensely! Thank you to the principals for being so generous to open up their classrooms and multi-purpose rooms for our use!
Also a big thanks to the secretaries and custodians that were of great help throughout the summer! We had a great time serving your children, and we hope our numbers will continue to grow at all of our sites! It’s great to know that the school district and the City of Gilroy can partner together!
