Dear Editor:
Wow! What a great show! “American Ideal,” sponsored by City of Gilroy Community Services and directed by John Bisceglie opened to a sold out crowd Jan. 24th at the Old City Hall in downtown.
Dazzling stage lighting, multi-media video and the talents of local young performers made for a delightful evening of music and fun. Gilroy has been so blessed over the years to have the support of Cathy Mirelez, cultural arts supervisor for the City of Gilroy, and the incredible talents of John Bisceglie.
John contributed hundreds of hours of video and sound editing to make this show possible. He combines his great sense of humor and fun with a commitment to producing the best show possible. Especially meaningful is a collection of clips from past productions.
“American Ideal” is patriotic, fun and and provides an opportunity for our children to perform music from the ’40s through today. Take the time to catch one of the performances. You won’t be disappointed.
