Alfred Earl Malech died Oct. 20, 2003, at the age of 73 due to a
long illness.
Alfred Earl Malech died Oct. 20, 2003, at the age of 73 due to a long illness.
Alfred was a retired industrial arts teacher at Alisal High School in Salinas. He belonged to many organizations including the First Presbyterian Church, American Society of Dowser and the California Retired Teachers Association.
Alfred is survived by his wife, Salvacion Malech of Salinas; sons, Ken (Carleen) Malech of Turlock and Fred Malech of Reno; daughters Kathy (Rick) Genasci of Salinas, Patty (Bryan) Hayes of Mount Hermon; mother Ruth Malech of Coyote; sister Lucille Melot of Coyote; brothers Burt Malech of Gilroy, Keith Malech of San Jose, Paul Malech of Morgan Hill and Ray Malech of Coyote; and nine grandchildren.
A memorial services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at First Presbyterian Church, 830 Padre Drive, Salinas. Burial will be in the Queen of Heaven Cemetery.
