the Gavilan Golf Course in Gilroy
GILROY – The Gavilan Niners held their September Ace Day on Sept. 25 at the Gavilan Golf Course in Gilroy.
Ace for Sept. was Doris Currie, Morgan Hill , net 31. She was also first in the second flight. First in the first flight was Teri Swan, Morgan Hill, net 34. Second in the second flight was Carol Navarez, Morgan Hill, net 34 and third was Birgit Caparusso, Gilroy, net 34. Low putts went to Bobbi Bentley with 15.
The Gavilan Niners participated in short course at Sunken Gardens on Sept.12. Irene Rodriguez, San Jose, Marlene Sherwin, Morgan Hill, and Joan Webenbauer, came in second in their respective flights.
The Gavilan Niners play each Thursday morning at the Gavilan Golf Course in Gilroy with tee times starting October 4 at 9 a.m.
