Tryouts will be at Las Animas Park on the Wren field.

OVYSL tryouts for 2003 Fall season
GILROY – Tyrouts for Orchard Valley Youth Soccer League Class I (Select) and Class III (Competitive) teams for the 2003 Fall Season will be held Feb. 8 and Feb. 9 as well as Feb. 15 and Feb. 16.
Players must tryout in the appropriate age groups (U9, U10, U11, U12, U13, U14, U15, U16, U18, U17/19). Tryouts will be at Rod Kelley in Gilroy and P.A. Walsh in Morgan Hill.
League play begins Sept. 6.

GILROY – The Gilroy Shockers 12U girls fastpitch team is holding tryouts on consecutive Sundays, Feb. 2 and Feb. 9., at Christmas Hill Park ranch field in Gilroy.

Jeff Garcia Golf Classic at Eagle Ridge
GILROY – The first-annual Jeff Garcia Golf Tournament scheduled for April 4 at Eagle Ridge Golf Course is now accpeting registration for golfers interested in playing in the four-man scramble fundraiser.
Gilroy’s Jeff Garcia – the 49ers’ All-Pro quarterback – as well as several of his Niner teammates will be on hand for the inaugural tournament that will benefit the Gilroy High and Gavilan College football programs.
