SALINAS
– KTOM, the Monterey Bay Area’s heritage country music station
will present its fourth annual KTOM CountryFest – a celebration of
America’s music starring Chris LeDoux, and the Rockin’ Roadhouse
Tour with Mark Chesnutt, Joe Diffie and Tracy Lawrence Sunday at
the Salinas Sports Complex.
SALINAS – KTOM, the Monterey Bay Area’s heritage country music station will present its fourth annual KTOM CountryFest – a celebration of America’s music starring Chris LeDoux, and the Rockin’ Roadhouse Tour with Mark Chesnutt, Joe Diffie and Tracy Lawrence Sunday at the Salinas Sports Complex.

Chris LeDoux is a former rodeo star turned singer with many hits as a solo artist and a few with his friend, Garth Brooks. In fact, Brooks credits Chris LeDoux and his high energy concerts as the inspiration for his own shows. LeDoux has had hits with songs like “Hooked on an 8-second Ride” and “Cadillac Ranch.”

The Rockin’ Roadhouse Tour of Mark Chesnutt, Joe Diffie and Tracy Lawrence have had a combined 41 number-one-hit records between them. their performances are a non-stop hit-after-hit concert experience.

KTOM Program Director Jim Dorman said the Sunday concert “… will be the biggest CountryFest we’ve ever had. … For years KTOM has tried to book Chris LeDoux for CountryFest and we’re very excited to have him for this year.”

The KTOM CountryFest will be held Sunday at the Salinas Sports Complex, 1034 North Main Street in Salinas. Gates will open at noon, and the show starts at 1 p.m. Reserved tickets are $35, with general admission costing $25 and are available at www.tickets.com.
