I usually write personal notes when thanking someone, but I was so moved by your column about Jeff Garcia and his story published in late June that I couldn’t wait – I was in Mexico the week it was published and just recently read it.
I hope the great people of Gilroy are as enthusiastic as you are. They should be proud. Somehow, I think they are.
I loved everything about this story, especially the people connected with it. As humble as Jeff is, I hope he realizes what an inspiration he is. I will never look at life the same way after having worked on this piece.
