Christopher's Khaya Price spikes the ball past Live Oak during the Dig Pink event at Gavilan Oct. 4.

The Christopher High volleyball program will host five general all skills camps this summer, with only 32 slots available per session.
Camps 1 and 2 will be held June 22 to 25. Camps 3, 4 and 5 run July 27 to 31. The camps cost $90 per player.
Camps 1 and 3 are designed for beginning or less experienced players. Both sessions run from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. and are catered to players with little to no experience or those wanting to brush up on the basics.
Camps 2 and 4 are designed for players with school or club experience, including incoming high school freshmen. These sessions are from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Camp 5 is an advanced all-skills session. It runs July 27 to the 30 and is catered to junior varsity and varsity high school athletes. This camp runs from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m.
Players receive 10-12 hours of instruction and a chance to meet other athletes who share their passion for the game and who have a desire to play at a higher level. Those who pre-register will receive a camp t-shirt. Registering before June 12 for Camps 1 and 2 and before July 12 for the remaining three sessions is recommended to ensure a personalized t-shirt.
The Cougars staff is Gold Medal Squared, Impact and USA Volleyball CAP Certified with several years of volleyball playing and coaching experience. The coaches said their mission to help young players learn and love the game as much as they do.
