It saddens me to have to write a letter to Gilroy regarding a lawnmower thief.
My son has a trailer in front of his house that he has been using to clean up his father-in-law’s yard. It has yard waste in it, but he keeps the lawnmower and gas can in it also. It seems someone decided to help themselves to the lawnmower. Now he won’t be able to finish the yard work.
It would be very nice if the person who took the lawnmower out of the trailer would return it. I see at least 50 trailers around town with gardening equipment in them. I hope these gardeners are safeguarding their equipment, since there seems to be a lawnmower thief on the streets of Gilroy.
