Eugene H. Badgley died Wednesday, Jan. 28, at the age of 68.
Eugene H. Badgley died Wednesday, Jan. 28, at the age of 68.
He was born in Riverside and raised at the I.O.O.F. orphan home in Gilroy.
Mr. Badgley was a member of the Marine Corps. He went to San Bernadino and Pamona College before graduating from San Jose State University. He was a CHP officer for 18 years and later a security guard at Federal Court House in San Jose.
He is survived by his brothers Glenn Badgley, of Reno, and Elmer Badgley, of Murrita City, and sister Maxiene Shepard, of Riverside, as well as several nieces and nephews.
Family and friends are invited to attend funeral services on Saturday at 2 p.m. at Oak Hill Funeral Home’s The Chapel of Roses, 300 Curtner Ave., San Jose.
