The City of Gilroy Recreation Department and Gilroy Children’s Music Theater seeks local youth ages 6-25 who love to sing and dance to audition for parts in the upcoming production of “Disney Spectacular!”
The play will be directed by local theater legend John Bisceglie, who is known for his over-the-top productions teeming with fantastical costumes and flair.
Auditions are scheduled from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. May 10 at the Gilroy Senior Center, located at 7371 Hanna St. in Gilroy.
Everyone who auditions will be cast in the show. There will be eight Saturday-only rehearsals for 1.5 hours, beginning at 11 a.m. and ending at 4:30 p.m.
There will be two public performances Saturday, July 12 onstage at the Christmas Hill Park Ampitheatre.
