Experience a new festival Aug. 9-10 in the Santa Cruz mountains, featuring music, food and vendors. Pulse Productions and Boulder Creek Brewery have joined to produce the Santa Cruz Mountain Sol Festival, featuring Railroad Earth, Rodney Crowell, Zappa Plays Zappa, Ani Difranco, James McMurtry, Animal Liberation Orchestra, The Motet, Dead Winter carpenters, SambaDa, New Monsoon, Fruition and the Santa Cruz Dead All Stars at the Roaring Camp meadow in Felton.
Local craft vendors, microbrews and wines with farm-to-table food options will be available for this family friendly event. Gates open at 11 a.m. Saturday and Sunday and the shows starts at noon. Tickets are $55 each day or $100 for a two-day pass. Kids under 12 are free.
