Talk about a blast from the past:
The International Soap Box Derby (ISBD) is announcing a new gravity racing program for residences of California on Sunday, April 2, 2017 at 8 a.m. Participants must live in the state of California to be eligible and be between the ages of 7-20 years old.
The championship will be held at Hanover Street off Page Mill Road, Palo Alto, CA 94304. Free parking will be available at Varian Parking Lot at the bottom of the hill. Trophies will be awarded for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place for all divisions.
The registration fee to participate is $25. All racers need to be registered by Friday, March 10, 2017. You can register at california.soapboxderby.org.
