Sheriff’s deputies arrested two adult and two juvenile males on suspicion of burglary, in the area of Stratford Drive at Union Avenue, in unincorporated San Jose.

About 5:30 a.m. Saturday, deputies patrolling the area noticed a vehicle parked in front of a residence with its windows rolled down. This was inconsistent with the other cars in the area. The deputies checked the registration information on the license plate. It appeared the car did not belong there since it was registered out of Modesto.

The deputies got out of the patrol car and looked into the vehicle to find what appeared to be a large amount of stolen property. Concerned that a crime may be occurring, one deputy walked the street to see if other cars had been burglarized. As he came to the nearest corner, he noticed four males walking towards him. All of them, two adults and two juveniles, were carrying suspected stolen property in their hands. The men were detained.

The suspects possessed items such as iPods, GPS locations devices, digital cameras and multiple garage door openers. During the investigation, two immediate victims of vehicle burglary were located, however the Sheriff’s office is still looking for additional victims of vehicle burglary in the immediate area. The investigation is on going. All suspects were arrested. Potential victims of a burglary related to this incident can call Sheriff’s Investigation at 808-4500. Victims are welcome to view the property to identify other losses.
