At 1 a.m. Nov. 16, Gilroy police officers heard gun shots in a neighborhood near 10th and Church streets. Police dispatchers also received several phone calls reporting the sound of gun shots.

Several shots were fired at a home on the 100 block of Southgate Court after the driver of a suspicious vehicle slowly drove by the residence, victims said. No one was injured in the shooting and the victims were not affiliated with any criminal street gangs, police said. The motive for the shooting is unknown and police did not apprehend any suspects.
