Another solid defensive effort by the stingy Mustangs held host Notre Dame in the 20s as GHS improved to 10-0 in Tri-County athletic League play and 19-1 overall with a 47-24 victory Thursday night in Salinas.
Chelsea Hill posted a double-double with 17 points and 10 rebounds while Ashlee Williams had nine points and 10 boards. Emily Costa and Michelle Sosa contributed six points apiece.
With a two-game lead in the TCAL standings, the first-place Mustangs have two contests remaining on their league schedule.
Alisal visting Gilroy on Tuesday for the Mustangs’ final home game, which is also Senior Night. GHs concludes the regular season on the road against Salinas.
