Gavilan Golf Course was the sight Monday afternoon for a Tri-County Athletic League meet between Christopher High and Gilroy High.
Christopher’s Melissa Maldonado and Natalie Gutierrez, and Gilroy’s Cierra Montoya-Valdez, were the round’s medalists with each carding 47 in a Cougars’ 214-225 victory.
“I am so proud of the team. This was our lowest team score so far this year,” GHS coach Truidi Souza said. “The girls keep getting better with each match.”
Christopher’s coach, Manny Gutierrez added, “The girls played well today and are working hard to get better all the time.”
