A crane was out putting portables into place on Gavilan College’s main campus Friday. The portables will be used by various departments and members of school administration while the school undergoes a series of renovations. The construction projects are made possible by funds from Measure E, an $108 million bond passed by voters March 2, 2004. The funds are restricted to facilities construction and renovation. The first set of buildings to be renovated are part of the science complex.
