Chester H. Botill passed away July 9, 2007. A native of Gilroy, he is survived by his wife of 67 years, Eleanor, son Lester and his wife Connie Botill, 7 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by his son Chester Botill.
Chester served in the US Army during WWII and returned to Gilroy, where he raised his family and worked in the lumber yard and concrete plant.
Vigil service will be held 7 P.M. on Thursday at Habing Family Funeral Home. Funeral services will be on Friday at 10 A.M. at Our Lady Chapel St. Mary Catholic Church. Burial to follow at St. Mary Cemetery.
