Las Frijolitas earned the Women’s Fall C Division title Wednesday at Christmas Hill Park with a 10-5 rally past the Loca Girls.
Trailing 4-0 after two innings, Las Frijolitas (6-3) pushed across two runs in the third and five in the fourth. Annette Ceballos keyed the third inning comeback with an RBI triple.
Cory Tovar and Eryka Temores each notched three hits for the winners. Giovanni Martin and Anita Garza each garnered two hits and scored on Loca Girl run.
Corey’s Girl-Heavy’s Grill used four hits in the bottom of the seventh inning to post two runs for a 7-6 victory over Cal Silk Screen Printing in the championship game of the Women’s B Division.
Liza Adams hit an RBI single, then scored on Antoinette Bowe’s one-out single in the seventh for 8-1 Corey’s. Patricia Martinez scored twice for the winners. Suzanne Fox went 3 for 3 and Danielle Minkle scored two runs for Cal Silk (5-4).
Team TF won two games Sunday to take the Co-Rec Fall League crown at Las Animas Park.
Krisaundra Sonnier drove in five TF runs with a home run, double and two singles in a 16-9 win over Out 2 Play. Daniel Garcia went 4 for 4 and scored four runs in TF’s 16-5 nod over Team Rush in the finale.
Team OMG won twice in the Thursday Men’s EE postseason at Las Animas. Danny Prophet hit a homerun and two doubles in the first game as OMG topped Gilroy Thunder 18-3. Sergio Landa plated three runs as OMG outlasted R&M Transportation 19-4. Josh Diaz hit a homerun and single for R&M.
AJM Plastic Surgery turned back the Loco Boys 15-8 in the finals of the Tuesday E League playoffs. Marcus Harrell and Jose Gamboa each drilled three hits for AJM. Gamboa hit two homers and a triple as AJM opened the playoff series with a 20-5 decision over Fastenal.
No Soup 4 You gained the Thursday EE title by edging Baker Pump 9-8 in the finale. No Soup gained the finals with a 17-2 victory over RMS. Baker pump followed with a 19-6 win over the Assassins. Joaquin Chacon homered and Manny Juarez went 3 for 3 with a triple in the title game for the Soup.
