The Gilroy Historical Society is hosting a lunch at 1 p.m. Feb. 9 at the Milias Restaurant that includes an opportunity to learn more about the restoration and history of this iconic building located at 7397 Monterey St.

Milias Restaurant is the 2012 winner of The Gilroy Historical Society’s Historic Commercial Building Architectural Award. Owners Adam Sanchez and Ann Zyburra have completed the restoration of this long-time Gilroy favorite and plan to share their discoveries and display historic artifacts for their guests after the lunch.
