A Hispanic woman went into Kohl’s on Camino Arroyo and took a pair of boy’s Nike shoes, 4:46 p.m. Tuesday. The thief fled in a green Toyota Avalon after being confronted by a loss prevention officer.
A thief took a GPS system and a backpack with gym clothes from a residence on the 7000 block of Yorktown Drive, between 7 p.m. Jan. 13 and 8 a.m. Wednesday.

Two Hispanic girls approached another girl and pushed her to the ground while she was walking to Brownell Middle School, 7:40 a.m. Wednesday. Both assailants took off running.
