COLORADO SPRINGS, COLO. – Gilroy High sophomore Jasmine Yanez claimed her second career All-American honor by placing third in the 2009 Body Bar Women’s National Championships held May 1-2 at the USA Olympic Training Center in Colorado Springs, Colo.

Accompanied by coach Jason Villarreal, Yanez’s only defeat came to the No. 1 placer in the 108-pound division.

Her next tournament will be the Freestyle State Championships being held in Fresno next month, where Yanez will look to defend her three-time state championship title.
