A 62-year-old Morgan Hill woman was found dead inside her trailer at the Thousand Trails RV Park in an unincorporated area near Morgan Hill Thursday afternoon, according to the Santa Clara County Sheriff’s Office who conducted the investigation. Authorities have ruled out foul play and say Alberta Silva, 62, died from natural causes.
The exact cause of death will not be released from the Santa Clara County Coroner’s Office for several weeks, however.
The sheriff’s department received a “suspicious call” around 2:54 p.m. Thursday and responded to the 12800 block of Uvas Road after “witnesses found her dead in her trailer,” said Sgt. Jose Cardoza. Because the case remains under investigation – though is nearly closed – details are few, said Cardoza.
“This is going to be deemed a death from natural causes,” Cardoza said. “There were no signs of foul play.”
No one was arrested and there were no signs of illegal activity at the scene, Cardoza said.
