The Gilroy Historical Society will host its most popular walking tour at 10 a.m. Nov. 3 of the Old St. Mary Cemetery on First Street.

This hidden gem contains the graves of John Gilroy and the founder of St. Mary Parish, Father Hudson. Philanthropist Caroline O’Toole Murphy Dunne has a spectacular marble monument in the Irish Corner where many of Gilroy’s pioneer families rest.

The group will meet at 10 a.m. Nov. 3 at Serra Cottage, located at 7950 Church St. Wear sturdy shoes for uneven ground. Reservations are appreciated by calling the museum at (408) 846-0446.
