Whether your decorations are homemade or you spent $1,000 on special effects, we want to be the judge of the spookiest house in South County. Send in your photos to [email protected] with contact information and your address by Oct. 30 at 5 p.m. The spookiest house (as decided by the staff goblins) will win $25 to Dutchman’s Pizza.

Also, the “Terror On Lassen Way” haunted graveyard creators Bob Johnston and Scott Janssen will once again convert Lassen Way in Morgan Hill into a delightfully frightful display of high tech spookery and offer free admission to the public.

This year hundreds of brave souls are expected to visit the Haunted Graveyard and delight in the many spooky wonders.

The Haunted Graveyard will feature special effects, including a thunder and lightning storm, creaking gates, wisecracking skulls, the “breathing ground,” zombies trying to escape their graves, clawing hands, tombstones that shift and shake, ghosts, gargoyles, bats, skeletons, candles, special lighting, sound effects and coffins with disturbing surprises inside!

The Haunted Graveyard can be easily located in Morgan Hill by traveling west on Watsonville Road from Monterey Road.Turn left onto Venetian Way and stay to the right. The entrance to the Haunted Graveyard will be on the left.

This year the Haunted Graveyard will be open Oct. 31, Halloween night only, from 6:30 to 10 p.m. Donations will be accepted for the Parkinson’s Disease Foundation.
