Choirs from the Gilroy and Christopher high schools will be perform their fall concerts.

Soak in the sounds of music as 210 singers from Gilroy and Christopher High schools perform a fall concert at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday and Wednesday, Oct. 16 and 17 at St. Mary Church on the corner of First and Monterey streets. 

The show will feature singers from the men’s, women’s, chamber and concert choirs, which include Gilroy and Christopher high students. A sampling of different songs include “Stout-hearted men,” a Canadian folk number and a piece by Italian Baroque composer Antonio Vivaldi. 

The last song in the program involves all the students and will include surprise guest singers. Choral Director Phil Robb hints they are former chamber alumni. The Brownell Middle School Choir will also be featured as a special guest during the Wednesday performance. 

Entry is a $5 donation at the door.
